St. Vrain Students Present at Share Fair Nation conference

STEM School

On Saturday September 26, 2015, three Timberline PK-8 graduates attended the Share Fair Nation professional development conference for educators held at The University of Denver Morgridge College of Education. Share Fair Nation's goal is to inspire teachers to use emerging practices to educate a 21st Century workforce. Samantha, Fatima, and Nallely are currently enrolled as freshman in the STEM Academy at Skyline High School. They each gave a speech about what has helped them achieve at high levels in the transition to high school, which is often difficult for students. In their speeches, they attributed their current success to creating an ICAP (Individual Career and Academic Plan) and engagement in STEM programming during their 8th grade year at Timberline.
