Front Range Air Quality Project

STEM School

On November 13th, St. Vrain sent teachers and students from Skyline High School, Trail Ridge, Timberline and Westview Middle Schools to the University of Colorado Boulder to work with a team of scientist from CIRES, the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences. The goals of this collaboration are to develop lessons for middle and high school students on aerosols and ozone to be published on CLEAN Net web site.

“This is an exciting opportunity for our teachers and students in that the finished product will be a published lesson plan for schools around the world, developed for students by students” said Michael O'Toole, St. Vrain District STEM Coordinator.
