Engineering Week with Alpine Preschoolers

Stem School

Preschoolers become CIVIL and MANUFACTURING Engineers during Engineering Week at Alpine. Civil Engineers build some of the world’s largest structures, from highways and bridges to dams and airports. Manufacturing Engineers are involved with all aspects of manufacturing, including automation (robots), production control, and materials handling. Preschoolers are learning how books and stories help their imaginations grow. They are using civil engineering strategies to build a bridge for the Three Billy Goats Gruff to safely cross and avoid the Troll. In addition, preschoolers are also learning about material handling and production control. Students were engaged in the production of binding their very own books, giving them a place to record their own imaginative stories.
