Today we started with learning the area method for solving multiplication problems.
The problems we solved were 2-digit by 2-digit!
Our next step was to ideate in lists and sketches how we would design a building of our group’s choice that solves a problem of our choice. Then, we worked on building it and we made most of our prototype. The group from Buildings 2 came into our room to give us feedback on our prototypes and they invited us to their room to give feedback on their prototypes.
We had 2 sets of visitors. Our first visitors included Regina Renaldi, a SVVSD assistant superintendent, Ray Johnson from IBM and a district educational advocate from the office of Congressman Jared Polis. Our second set was a group of our parents. Both groups were very impressed with our progress and can’t wait for the exhibition Friday evening.
