After several years of working with CU TEAMS, Fall River is happy to expand its work with this engineering education outreach program. The program has grown from serving only 5th grade students to including students in 3rd and 4th grades as well. Students in 4th and 5th grade work with their TEAMS fellow during the school day in class. This year, the TEAMS program has expanded to include a TEAMS club for 3rd grade students after school. All students participating in TEAMS programming do hands-on engineering activities and projects aligned with Colorado Academic Standards (CAS). Students also recieve outreach on engineering education and careers. The activities are led by CU engineering students from all branches of engineering studies.
