At Longmont Estates, every student in grades K-5 will learn how to code this year. Using curriculum from Code.org, Wonder Robotics, and BitsBox, all students will work on developing their computer science knowledge and skills. Even our preschoolers will have some programming practice using BeeBots and Code-A-Pillars. Students work on sequencing, critcial thinking skills, problem solving, and developing persistence as part of each lesson. When students learn how to code, it helps them learn how to analyze, and it is teaching them skills that are critical for their future.
